Beyond Boundaries: How a “ Yes” Could Lead to an Ethical Issue

Join us as we explore the Code of Ethics for Peer Recovery Supporters and take a deep dive into how boundaries are challenged by the people we serve, employers, and even co-workers. We also delve into what happens if a boundary is crossed, when does it become an ethical issue, and how to prevent ethical issues from happening (hint: by setting healthy boundaries!).

Understand the nuances around boundaries and ethical issues
How to create healthy boundaries in the workplace as well as with the people who we serve
How to report an ethical issue
Whether you are new to peer support or have worked in the field for years, this class is for you! This presentation provides opportunities for interaction and Q&A. Come and learn all about setting healthy boundaries!

Are CEUs provided for this training?
Yes, 2 CEUs are available. To qualify for CEUs you must attend the entire 2 hour session, there is no partial credit provided.

No. Registration is free and there are no other fees.

Absolutely! These classes are designed for all peers - both those currently working in peer support and those who are considering entry into the field.
